Use of our Fastenbox Community

(1) Our community can be read without the need to register. If you would like to actively participate in our community, you must register by providing your email address, a password of your choice and a user name of your choice. There is no obligation to use a clear name; pseudonymous use is possible. We use the so-called double-opt-in procedure for this service, i.e. you will receive an e-mail in which you must confirm that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you wish to receive the notifications. You can unsubscribe from the notifications at any time, e.g. by clicking on the link contained in the e-mail or by contacting us using the contact details provided. The data you provide as well as the times of your registration for the service and your IP address will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the notice service.

(2) If you register for a community account, we will store all the information you provide in the community, i.e. public posts, pinboard entries, etc., in addition to your registration data, in order to operate the community until you log out. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DS-GVO.

(3) If you delete your account, your public statements, in particular contributions to the Community, remain visible to all readers, but your account can no longer be accessed and is marked in the Community with “[Guest]”. All other data will be deleted.
